Warn maintenance

I've open up my M12000, because it has been jumping when spooling back. I mean the drum jump/oscillate like if the bearing were worn out. I know there ain't any bearing in there, the drum rotates on nylon bushing.

I feel like the drum shoulder or section that rotates on the nylon are a bit worn out. Do you think simply by replacing the nylon and putting some grease in there it will be fine? Or i definitely need a drum?

Well i'Ve replace the nylon/plastic bushing on which the drum rotate, the problem was still there. So i remove the cap were the gears are cleaned the old grease, put new grease in (i think i put too much) and the d**m thing still vibrates.

Visualy i don't see anything worn out of the ordinary. There is a ring with inner teeth that is used to lock unlock the winch, and it is pretty loose in the housing. Even tho this ring doesn't rotate the planetary running on it might not stay centered. at 100$ for the stage 1, 150$ stage 2 and 200$ for the stage 3, i don't know which is causing this....

Something is worn out but i'm not a winch rebuilder so i have nothing to compare new with old..

yes i did, and i don't think he understood exactly the issue, and basicly told me bring it to a service center.

I replace again the grease, this time with good moly non sticky grease and it is smoother but i still have that oscillating problem that reduce speed by half when there are no load.

what is on the motor side, are there bearing there?
