WARN M12 Control Pack for WARN Z3500? (1 Viewer)

Question for those smarter than me:

I've got a WARN Z3500 trailer/atv winch I bought second hand without the control pack many years ago. I also have a apare control pack for an M12. Are there any issues with utilizing the M12 control pack with the smaller winch? The control pack that comes with the Z3500 uses smaller guage wire.

I want to install this unit on my 2002 Honda Foreman...

What do y'all think?

Never tried it, but there's no reason it shouldn't work, as long as the little ATV winch motor has the same field (F1 & F2) and armature (A) poles as every Warn truck winch.
