No Hard Feelings??? ???

Heck no, but I wasn't the one wanting a winch. :-\

usually, in my opinion, o.b.o means that the price stated if offered is the best offer.
pin-head said if it worked hed take it. for the asking price.
I think he should get the choice of taking it at 300.
The second offer didnt come till you found out it worked or not.
just my .02

Do the right thing, dude. Pin_head offered you the money conditionally, 20 minutes after you posted. OBO usually means if I don't get my listed price, it's what I'll accept. It sucks when some one comes along later with more cash, but who said the right thing is the easy thing.

Sorry Adam, after reading this long post I am in agreement with the others, seems like Pin_head should get this winch. I had a similiar situation, I sold something (but hadn't sent it off yet) and after accepting an offer someone else offered me more, all I could do was let the person know (the one who's offer I accepted) of the other offer in case they wanted to make a little money too. You wanted $300 and could have had your full asking price (which doesn't happen often), make your $300 and let Pin_head make a $100 if he wants to sell it to your co-worker. The Cruiser family is too small, let's keep it together.

Guys,
Thanks. I appreciate your concern, but please don't worry about it. Adam has a right to do whatever he wants with it and I have a right do do whatever I want, which in this case is not buy it.

Let's just let this go.

If anyone else wants this thing, step right up.
