I've got a beautiful 61, and I'd like to outfit it with a roof rack and rear door ladder, as well as a rear tire carrier.
Any out there?
Cheers

Contact Hawke on here. He may still have them from his truck.

I have a buddy making me a heavy duty aluminium rack for mine. He is located on Vancouver island. He still has all the specs if you wanted to go custom... not cheap, though. But I wanted something beefy, and original. Let me know if you want this option and I can give you his number. He is literally making it right now so I'll have pics when I can... probably a couple of weeks. He is also making me a "plug in" T from the front bumper so I can carry long lengths... I'm a carpenter.

Post a picture when it's done. Idea of cost? I'd be interested.

X2 - if no photos then dimensions and style info would be good. I'm on the verge of buying a heavy old con-fer but i'd much rather get an aluminum rack if I can.

Thanks, I'd defintely be interested. Pics and ball park cost would be much appreciated. Where on the Island is he located? I'll be there slammin' some halibut in August. Feel free to PM me his number please.
Cheers,
Steve

He's on the Malahat, 1/2 hour north of Victoria. I'll know more details when I finally see the rack. I know what it looks like... it was my design but he's got all the measurments, etc...

Also looking for a camping kit (bed)

Thanks alva regarding that rack they look like they can really do the job.
I posted awhile back that I'm also looking to pick up a bed or camping kit as they are referred to as I don't have the time or tools to fab something myself. If anyone has one that they don't need, just let me know.
Cheers:D
