why not get a new bracket?i've gotten brackets from here before, not sure if they have exactly your application, i used them for a gm 14bolt in my scrambler.

is it just me , or have the prices gone way up over the last 4 years? i know the price of metals went up, but it seems like my brackets were way cheaper than that.
 
Is it going to leave enough room on the disk side to fit the caliper?
It seems to me that the plate should go on the back side so it
won't interfere with the caliper.
 
I wouldn't bother with the plate, bevel out the break put the caliper in and tack it, and then nuke it, maybe a small 3 inch long bar to brace over with:meh:

Those were strong words Kina, put the caliper on and tack it...

I did, but after the welds, s*** didn't line up. :mad:

I drilled and tapped it, still off, welded up the holes and started over. :bang:
