I bought a new rebuilt from TAP for $1,100.

You can also check E-Bay stores. Just type in rebuild 22RE. You can get some with a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty.

I have an 87 pickup thats headed to the JY with a bad frame. What are you looking to do convert to EFI or you already have the intake and junk. (I could realy use the TPS)

no I broke my timing chain . I am looking for a decent motor . how many miles .

On Rt. 1 in Clinton is a '87 or so 4Runner 22RE w/ auto, no interior or roof except seats and dash, muddy, beat on, around 140k miles or so, sign says runs good, $500, been marked down a few times, phone 860-938-9891

I would be in trouble if I brought anything else home or I would have stored this for a later project............
