Want to buy heater components (with cab pics)

Bought my self a 55 Truck cab. It's already chopped. No chassis - looking for a donor fj60

Need all heater components.

Cab is unknown vintage. I have round door tops (no vent windows) and ignition on the column. No column shifter.

I have practically zero components for heat with the exceptions of three non cracked vent hoses.

I expect I'll need the heater box, motor, interior vents, fresh air intake on the engine compartment side, and the air box that goes from the firewall into the heater box, valve cock, and the plastic defrost vents. All screws, bolts, clips, and nuts too. And since I'm not familiar with the 55's yet, anything else I've missed including the hard metal coolant tubes attached to the firewall or running to the core. (Oops core too). Sheesh.

New to 55's but not cruisers
Cheers,
John

Have a complete set up, blower box to heater, from a '76. PM me for details. Will try to get pics up tomorrow.

Pics of cab

I'll be doing a build thread when I find a donor. This will be a long time coming though. Probably a two year build. Status: No floor, no everything but odd ball components.

Building a rat rod - hence FJ60 donor. Want wrapped headers, holley and chrome cleaner and some flames. Got myself dummy grenades for shifter knobs

I have access to a heater box from a 40. Does anyone know if these will fit?

Cheers,
John

THAT IS A COOL CAB! Is it a fj55?

It's a 55 with 40 rear side windows grafted in. The center section in the rear takes the rear tailgate window from a regular 55

This is starting to become chat so I'll start a discussion thread in the regular forum.

Got heater/blower in Portlandia, O. Plus allsorts of other things off of this...frame is good, springs all good, gas tank good, front cowl good, lots of misc parts in a bin (glass, front bumper, couple door panels, winshield wiper motor and linkage)...come get it all.

Heater parts and more

John...
Here are pics of the heater assembly (also can provide the dash control center piece w/switches) and of some other basic stuff I think you'll be needing. That includes gas pedal assy., clutch/brake pedal bucket, e-brake handle and mechanism and the hard lines that attach to the firewall for brakes, etc. Let me know what you are interested in and we'll come up with a price. Shipping on your dime (or loony.)
