u kno whow hard it is to get a decent looking tranny in short notice...come on, thought you had moved on already?
Dont some of the parts stores/equipment places rent them out? Maybe check Northern Tool for one you can just buy for a decent price.
Oh yeah when you get ready to pull the stuff let me know. Im thinking about pulling my engine next year and doing a freshening and supercharger install. Planning on towing a decent size camper and freshening up the Cruiser is cheaper than a new truck...Even though I want a Dodge Ram Power Wagon so bad I cant stand it.

Ill probably pick one up from there or CL if i cant rig something. I have a floor jack but its not the best.
Man if i had internet at where i work on the rig i would have called you, i just got done workig on it for two days. The whole front end is off and all accys, abs, a/c, ps, cruise, exhaust is almost off but the last bolt on cylinder #6 is a pita to get to, ill probably pull it with the head. The part im most excited about though is I dropped the front axle tonight, yeah! man that thing is heavy, glad i have the engine hoist. NExt time ill pull the rear and head. Id love to have some company out there, ill call u next time.
