What do you think?

Looks good if you are going to keep it on the road. Off road obviously it will be a disaster, lol.

Is this concept pic or real? I cannot tell.

The reason I ask is this.

Doug Thorley could not figure out anyway to do the dual exhaust without removing the spare, so I have a hard time believing that this is a real pic VS cgi concept. Unless they removed the spare, which would be stupid. Plus it looks like they removed the trailer hitch.

In another words this looks like a great CITY cruiser, but would be horrible and impractical off road. I guess it just depends on why you want the LC.

But it does look good.

this looks computer generated.

regardless, seems rediculous for a vehicle so clearly (over) engineered for off-road driving.

probably virtual masturbation for some computer person with a landcruiser fetish. i can understand the last part, just not the first.

Whew, someone finally figured out how to make my LC200 look like a Scion xB. Who woulda thunk it?

No offense to the designers or the manufacturers, but I wouldn't be caught dead rolling in that rig.

But hey, vive la difference!

Here is a similar kit from JAOS

What the hell is on the hood by the windshield?

These are all nice for the road but I really hope nobody is considering or even thinking of putting those things off the road at all.

It's got me stuffed why ppl buy a 4wd, and lets face it, there a so many nicer town cars then a landcruiser for mall cruising, and then go and put big wheels and body kits on it?????? Grrrrr if you want to do that, buy a 300C or something that appreciated it! Rant over

Or a Range Rover :flipoff2:

The Wald kit is real and I must admit, its slick. I think they should've boosted the size of the fender flares but still slick.

That jaos Cruiser on the hood has some sort of wind deflector.

actually the wald kit for our LS430 looks really clean, but uhm...the other driver would destroy it.

The KIT is cool

Also, this kit was designed for the 200 series which costs upwards or 70k. Hell, all us mudders would have to sell our lc80s 10x to purchase one of these cruisers.

Also, these kits were not designed for north americans who dont have any money. We live in a world full of installment payments .. in asia and the middle east, where this kit is really designed for, people pay cash for their cars.

$125,000 for an LC200 .cash ... whats another $40,000 for body kit and wheels ... its nothing.

And they never take these trucks off road.

What do you think?
What do I think? 1) Putting an aero kit on an offroad capable, body-on-frame, solid-rear-axle truck defeats the purpose and 2) it is ugly.

The 22"+ chrome wheels crowd may like it, but it offends my sensibilities. YMMV.
