So my brother decides to pull the the cig lighter plug out of the truck and hook to the spare battery. Well he hooked it up reverse polarity. Error light came on and now nothing. Checked fuse in the cig. lighter, on the 120 volt plug, and the internal fuse on the what looks like internal inverter. The frig. will run in the emergency on, 120 volt mode. No lights on the control panel, power, temp, turbo, nothing. Any ideas?

Sounds like a power supply or fuse is fried. Find the controller board and look for a fuse on it. There may be one on the controller board to work as a sacrificial part in case of reverse polarity. The manual mentions a protective circuit, but doesn't mantion anything more about it.

Try asking a question here, lots of waeco owners who really know their stuff.

Sounds like the control panel is fried to me. I think they are about $200AUD for a CF50

Well just to finish this up, the main board fried. New one on the way, $76 with shipping.
