Not sure if anyone has had the same issue or can point me out to the appropriate thread. After I press the Center Diff button off the VSC Trac and VSC Off light up at the same time. I am not sure if this is a serious problem or not, they do not appear after I turn the ignition off and then start up again. If this is just a sensor issue, where is the sensor located and what is the procedure for changing this. Also, would there be any detrimental effect on the vehicle handling with both the buttons on. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice.

you said diff lock off but i assume you mean the center diff is locked. if somehow the vsc warning lights are on when diff is not locked then i guess something must be wrong with the wiring of the switch or the lights (ie reversed)?

So, this thread doesn't address your issue directly but it does have the diagrams of the locations for the sensors, what they look like, and how to replace them. The only thing I could think of is your sensor is sticking.... maybe??

I just recently had the opposite problem, I would push my center diff lock switch and it would lock but the lights on the dash would not come on, replaced the sensor and now they work.
