VSC system and 4 lo blinking lights. I believe from the Wife not putting the gas cap on (at least she filled it). how do i clear?

VSC system and 4 lo blinking lights. I believe from the Wife not putting the gas cap on (at least she filled it). how do i clear?

I have read the forum and assumed it would clear itself. I have driven over 100 miles but it has not reset.

any ideas? my next plan would be to disconnect battery.

Not sure if this is your problem or not, but I can tell you that you should look into getting a bluetooth OBD tool at the least (or a full blown techstream setup, or best get both). If you had one you could clear the code that way. You could also know what the code was actually for rather than shooting in the dark. Best sub $50 you can spend as a 200 owner.

Carista or Veepeak. If you use an iPhone, make sure to get a BLE (version of bluetooth) model. I believe the Caristas are all BLE, and some of the Veepeaks are. It's been a little while since i've looked, but i think Androids don't make use of BLE.
