Voyager rock this Sunday

Anybody in the Fresno area want to run up to Courtright Lake and over to Voyager rock/dusy meadow Sunday morning. Freds40 is gonna jump in my rig and where gonna leave clovis around 8ish and start up the hill. be on the trail about 10ish. fart around. head home about 2. should be back in fresno 4-5ish

only hard part i can think of is chicken rock(steep climb on solid granite) only pictures I can find of CR Tails from the Dusy

yeah it'll make it. just a couple of tight spots that will take some time to wiggle through.

I played around on Dusy along time ago in my full size Chevy.We went in a little ways and turned around.I remember a few squeezes through some trees.

This is where we turned around.

So where we gonna meet up?

or we can meet you at your place if you want to go slow. It'd be on my way to 168? 8:15-30

My kiddo came along. She was asleep before we got on the trail.

We had 2 trucks and met another a bit later.

We got a bit ahead of Chris so Jason let Hazel drive.

first gear and low/low and she was having a blast.

After we met our 3rd rig, (Bird Dog) we went on and decided to wheel a bit. We made it up Voyager and walked back down to help Chris.

The thought of getting a stock FJ through Dusy's "Gatekeeper" was interesting, but Chris did make it with a bit of spotting.

Hazel then had to pose on some big rocks for me.

Anyway, it was a good time. We probably went an hour or 2 into the trail and turned back. Just wanted to mess around a bit. It was cool to see the FJ make it in a bit.

Hopefully the wagon run in Oct. ( https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/209007-dusy-ershim-wagon-run-dates.html ) has a good turn-out with some decent rigs as it should be a blast.

No paint damage thanks to you guys spottin at the bottom of chicken rock

The no paint damage and the happy baby for most of the day means we can go do that in the FJC with the baby again sometime
