I had twelve saying they would come out and help, none showed up. It was just me, the ranger, and her volunteer. We got some done anyway, we intend to schedule two more weekends in February. I don’t know what it is with lack of commitment among veterans. I started Mountain Warriors because veterans said they want to volunteer, now those very veterans don’t show up. I’m not giving up, I will keep trying to reach veterans that want to be involved. I had one I was referred to return my call after the fact, he was out of town during the project. He says he wants to help, and he also has TBI.
