Seeking higher vistas
JJ (our buddy in Colorado Springs Christian 4Wheelers) is organizing some 4x4 volunteers for tasks (taxi service up and down the mountain on "normally closed to public" forest roads) during the Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon weekend, Friday September 15th and Sunday September 17th.
Friday, 9/15 about 10am to 2pm, transport event staff/volunteers and their gear from Manitou Springs up Long's Ranch Road and/or Bob's Road to stations along the race "course".
Sunday, 9/17 about 12pm to 4pm, same but down the mountain to Manitou Springs.
Obviously, since it is providing transport service, you'll want to drive a wagon or 4-dr Tacoma
to maximize passengers each trip.
