Play volleyball? I play league ball at Cabo (south west side of CR) sunday nights if you want to stop by. The beer is cold and they have great nachos.

Sure, come to Iowa when I'm going to be gone... =)
Hopefully our group will take care of yah while your here.

Brent,
Can you round up some of the eastern Iowa guys for a informal meet and greet somewhere in Cedar Rapids? Let Art or I know if you need any contact info for eastern guys.

LOL, "liquid sunshine"
You're from Florida, are you saying we have as much humidity as y'all?

> are you saying we have as much humidity as y'all?

Nope; that's what we call rain back n the "Sunshine State"....

This morn (Fri, 5:40 a.m.), it's 61 deg F in Cedar Rapids.
Yesterday evening was cozy warm.
OK, so the temp dropped...
- - -No dew dripping from the cars in the hotel parking lot !

'right now' in West Palm (6:40 am), it's 79 Deg F,80% RE Humidity.... I'll bet cars are dripping wet with dew . . .Dew falls out of trees like after a rain shower....

Oh, stopped by & visited with DudleyFJ40,,,another cruiserhead stopped by
( Don ? , Doug ? I apologied for not 'memberen his name....)
. . .Nicely set up rig- he's done a great job of resto & mod !

Much like Tall Corn, FLCA members are scattered all over the state. There's 'puddles' of members around the bigger cities; they'll hold wrench parties, beer-burger-bs socials, etc....
As Tall Corn continues, y'all will do that too (right?)

Members do 'frieght runs' too - as we travel around state for business, visit family etc, volunteer some cargo space to fetch or deliver parts from one member to another....

Land Cruiser Clubs, like the old song "We Are Family" . . .

Tomorrow, I head back home....early morn flight....
. . .just might miss this area :-)
. . . .I like the "traffic jam = 2 cars at same stop sign"

If any of ya comming to FL (Disney / beaches / business) chime in on MUD or flca's B Board.

Be safe; keep 'er tween the ditches

Pete

Rob Wicket was his name. That was pretty cool having two cruiserheads talking cruiser all afternoon.

You really have some good ideas for club entertainment. We need to have wrenching partys and maybe welding partys also.

Your right it is a brotherhood, one I plan to stay in for a long time. Everyday I try to recruit new cruiser guys. For some reason it is hard to get them to join.

Anyway.

Thanks for stoping by and visiting. It was very nice meeting you, Thank You for the compliments.

Keep that Soggy 60 dry.:D

It was my pleasure meeting, and chatten, with you & Rob . . .

I really appreciate the 'welcome' at the airport
. . . note lower corner of window :-)
