Well, got frustated with not having a solution for my HELLA's yet.. and wanting some lights for the trail (in case).. so i picked up some Vision X 6500's HID's.

OMG these things are fawken bright!!!! And the fit / look perfect IMHO. I can't stand the look of HELLA 4000's and Lightforce 240 Blitz.. they look too big for the bumper!! Anyways... here's a couple shots... they're the most affordable HID offroad light out right now, they have the shallowest depth of most lights and the ballast is built into the housing.

Is it dark yet?

Oh yeah, installed George's LED's in my map light today too... that guys is a pimp!, i think im gonna need welding goggles to drive my rig from now on!

Excellent choice!

I agree the Vision X HID's are BY FAR the best light out there!

The build quality and materials are far superior to the others!

Also, the fit and finish as you mention as well! :D

Curious, what do the dust shields look like?

Looks nice!

:flipoff2: Very Nice! :flipoff2:

Mangler.. the dust cover is ultra gay. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow. It reminds me of a cheap KC light. They obviously put more time and money into the light and skimped on the cover.. which i don't run anyways so i dont care.

Looking good Dave. Post up some pics close up, I would be interested in the fit and proportions compared to the Hellas.

So, which beam pattern did you go with?

Have you used them at night?

Will they cause sunburn?

Can they melt snow?

How many $$$

Inquiring minds want to know!

Sorry, dork factor. I didn't even register that the link was to your shots. I registered it as a link to the manufacturer.

Those do look sweet as hell on the ARB, they fit it perfectly!
x2 on the $$$

For some reason the HID's come up really weird on the digital camera. They don't seem bright at all. Trust me though, in person you can tell the difference.

Ok, here goes the comparison photos. It's really really hard to tell anything from these pics.. i know i could have just drove up to a dark brick wall.. but i wanted to show something different.

Sidenote: I haven't adjusted the angle or the direction of any of these lights yet.

You also haven't let us know how much dinero these will set us back:flipoff2: .

The pics do give us an idea. Thanks for going through the trouble for the shots. I am a big fan of those and never really knew that they existed.
