Hello, anyone running the victory 4x4 roofrack with ikamper skycamp tents? I’m having issues getting the skycamp mount 2.0 installed because of low profile, it’s also super hard to get under to install it on the victory 4x4 roof rack mounts. Any tips or products that could help? I’m doing this alone so it’s a bit of a challenge. I’m in the bay area

Some pics of what you're dealing with will help those who are trying to help you. I understand basically what you're talking about, especially working alone. That might be your biggest challenge since some tasks mounting RTT's and roof racks are next to impossible without at least one more helper. Sometimes it is necessary to mount RTT to rack off the rig (on the ground) and then mount both on rig. Clearance to access mounts can be a bitch on low profile setups.
Also, you can pull two crossbars off the vehicle and install the tent on them on the ground, which is how we usually do it here. We then usually remove the tent by unbolting the crossbars and replacing them with two spares.

What’s the issue with the Skycamp 2.0 mounts? Are they hitting your roof? If so you’ll need to space up the tent or find lower profile tent mounts. Should be a simple install unless the Victory is too low profile that the tent mounts hit the roof on the underside of the rack. I’d also recommend some rubber between the tent rails and rack crossbars to reduce metal and metal noise.

I am so dissapointed with my V Roof rack. I just bought a 270 awning and realized once I start to install that I have to spend $170 extra dollars to purchase the V awning mounts in order to install my already expensive awning. I am starting to regret this purchase.
