I have always wanted to carve realistic duck decoys. My first project I am working on is a working widgeon floater. I just bought this carving fixture, and wanted to share how well it works.

I'm also laying out a patter for a canvas over wire decoy. My friends dad, who has passed away, used to donate 1 to the DU Banquet each year. This style originated Back East when wood was scarce, and ships sails were aplenty.
