I have a FJ70 3F Carburated.

Since a a year (o maybe more) my carb has starting to fail.

I discovered (and I am really sure or it) that it fails just in the transition from the idle circuit to the main circuit. When is the time to the transition to ocur the engine run out of gas for .4 secs. It doesnt matter if I push the gas quickly or slowy (the acelerator pump works perfect).

I removed the carb like 121212121 times and I have done all types of cleaning with all types of fluids, and nothing. New gaskets and nothing.

I have two theorys:

1) Primary main circuit venturi has an air leak and so the gas is not getting out at the time it shoud be.

or

2) There is getting some air trought the trottle shaft.

If someone has got trought the same problem please write.

Tomorrow I will do an exhaustive check at the venturi and also I will do a smoke test on the throttle shaft.

PD: The venturis from both main circuits (pri & sec) are the same?

Thanks
