Vented side windows

The windows work well and the seal seems OK. I did however take a couple of extra steps during my install to assure a water tight fit. First of all I used a bedding compound to attach the window frames to the truck. The instructions say to just use the two sided tape on the frames and then the window seal also works as a seal for the frames. I didn't like that and I am glad I sealed the frames before attaching the window seal. I have heard that someone did have a leaking problem most likely due to an improper seal placement. The window seal is the most important part of the install. The only other thing I don't really care for is the color/tint when looking out the windows. It matches from the outside but not from the inside. I would however recommend them and I would do it again. The air flow is good when opened fully and mine do not leak when closed..

Thanks...I'll be getting some next month. Although I think I'll have my buddy make glass windows that match the factory tint.

Once I get them I'll post some pics.

glad to here they are working out well. i always kind of stupid not having the fly windows from the factory. maybe they sould start making them for the access cab taco.

With the compound curve on the glass I don't think it is possible to replicate the windows from glass without costing a fortune. And all but impossible to get the holes in the original tempered glass so they would work. But, if you do I would be willing to pay a good amount for a set too. Maybe if we could get a bunch of people to split the set up cost it may be a possibility.
