Hmm, that should interest a few of us

Will the interior stay dry in heavy rain or in car wash?

You'll have to update us after the install and a few rains.

They should have made them out of tempered glass and not plastic, I have never seen plastic that doesn't scratch, even the scratch resistant.

I'm not too worried about the material. I am more concerned about the seal. I have used Plexi for other applications and with good materials and proper care it can last longer than my rig will. Besides my dog and back seat passengers couldn't care less if they could even see out of it. :D

My front side windows are scratched to heck' too, from all the mud, sand and such, running the windows up and down, driving thru motorcycle wide trail. etc... If the rear window matches, that's a good thing... :p

Looks interesting. This is something the FJ desperately needs. It is really going to depend on the seal and quality of the material. I'd be happy with a vented glass window that you could open when you want to drive with the windows down to prevent the bad interior turbulence and beating your ears take. Looking for to the review.

How was the installation for those...drill and tap a few holes?
Was a template provided or did you have to measure it out?

A template was provided as well as a detailed set of instructions and a video is available also on Youtube. Very easy to install and very little tools needed.

How about the removal of the glass?
How did that go?

I would just pay someone to remove the fixed glass panels. It was not something I would do again. Expect to pay from 50 to 100 bucks for that. Here is a couple of pics from the inside as several people have asked me to post.

any updates on this? hows the seal for the window, does it flow enough air, would you do it again, ect, ect?

Yeah any update? I'm waiting to pull the trigger on getting them until I hear they actually seal properly.

The windows work well and the seal seems OK. I did however take a couple of extra steps during my install to assure a water tight fit. First of all I used a bedding compound to attach the window frames to the truck. The instructions say to just use the two sided tape on the frames and then the window seal also works as a seal for the frames. I didn't like that and I am glad I sealed the frames before attaching the window seal. I have heard that someone did have a leaking problem most likely due to an improper seal placement. The window seal is the most important part of the install. The only other thing I don't really care for is the color/tint when looking out the windows. It matches from the outside but not from the inside. I would however recommend them and I would do it again. The air flow is good when opened fully and mine do not leak when closed..
