I'm checking with the moderator to see why the decision was made to soft-delete the thread. Your post was not a product review, but a delivery complaint. More appropriate for Chat is my initial thought, but I'm checking with the mod in the meantime.

Good luck questioning the "integrity" of this site with regards to this statement: "...but this experience leads me to believe information is being covered up. Shady! Is there a honest forum somewhere?" The site has lost thousands in ad revenue (and spent a fair share with attorney's as well) due to negative statements made by members regarding products and companies.

Good to know this site stands by their members. I've seen tons of shady activity in other forums, who are driven by the ad revenue at the expense of their members.

This is my takeaway, and if you swing through this thread again Woody, a big "Thanks!" for the way you run the site. I spent a couple days here now, never seen anything even close to vendor favoritism / politics.

The whole mod/admin thing seems a real thankless job - let alone it being done as well as it appears here on Mud.

Agreed.

The fact that anyone would question the character and integrity of a FREE forum, that they have contributed virtually nothing to, is almost comical if it weren't so GD offensive!

Instead of questioning the integrity of @woody or any of the moderators the OP should take a second to think about why it was deleted or moved.

Full disclosure, I once had a post deleted. It was a somewhat political post in a tech thread. I had no problem with it being deleted and have refrained from posting anything that might be construed as political in a tech thread. In other words, the moderation worked as it should.

As for conspiracies with favoritism for a vendor on the board.... nope that is not how Woody or the moderators run the board. Heck Woody is one who I consider a friend, and yet I noticed in recent facebook posts his 80 recently no longer has our tube bumper on it! Was there in October, but now it's a short bus. Slee does make a nice looking front bumper with the short bus so fully understand! I doubt there was a conspiracy for Woodys new bumper, but its no longer ours.
