Search Google for Toyota owners. You'll see Toyota's owners website. Create an account and you can enter any Toyota VIN, even if you don't own the car. Scroll down for service history. Lexus has a similar website.

Once you have done that, select the vehicle and there should be a tab called "Service History" if they went to a dealer, it will tell you.

You get a LOT more detail using the Lexus / Toyota provided sites. Carfax doesn't provide nearly as much info.
the details are nice, but it looks like it only shows the work done at toyota dealers though
