Vehicle Clinometer / Tilt meter for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

And it has a FJ Cruiser built in.



You can set warning/alarm angles, customize colors and device position. Set-up in truck park on level ground hit the cal button and have fun. (if the mount will not be moved you only have to cal once, be sure to turn off auto-zero at startup)

Someone in the comments had a good idea about setting the angles low to scare passengers haha.

I have not gotten it offroad yet but it is fun to play with, only downside I saw is it costs $1.99.

i'm glad someone saw the humor in it...guess you either have to know the ricer civics running around town (apc stickers are a dead give away) and be aware of the fact that i have only "wheeled" my rig two or three times since i purchased it 2+years ago.

thats great, back in HS my best friend had an old turbo Eclipse and the only mods we did to it were put rims on it and an obnoxiously loud blow off valve on it so everyone would know it was turbocharged. Turns out most people just thought something was f'd up with the car

I'm a sucker too... for the whopping $1.99 I just had to jump.

On a similar note since I'm new to iPhones, are there any decent GPS apps? I tried out MotionX, but it isn't very good. Graphics are great, functions are fine, but it's always about 1/10 th of a mile behind where I am... nothing more annoying than it telling me to turn 5 seconds after I've already turned.

Suggestions?

There is a free one up right now called cat physics that pretty fun, could use more levels but for free it's worth a shot
