Hey gang, I bought the Durlast VC120. It has two ports the stock Canister has three ports. I found a few threads on here mentioning that, but no answers. Is it necessary? Do I need to fashion a T-fitting? Greatly appreciate someone with experience. Thanks

Here is what I have currently.

I am only speaking from the 60-side of things, but I believe you still tee them both, and the other is the "Vent" port, which generally has a plastic dust cap over it.

I have the ports on the driver-side vacuum tubes vented to atmosphere. Probably not EPA-compliant, but it's been years and have had no issues.

This is how mine looks on the 60, I would *assume* the 62 is similar?

Same idea with the 2-port, posted here:

Judging by the application, it looks like the VC120 is vented via the integral baffle / vent plate at the bottom.

Just to 100% confirm the theory - the stock application is for a 1990-1995 Chevy - this is what I see on SI for the vehicle:

So it looks like on my current canister (not stock) they removed the splash guard and ran a tube somewhere. But with the Duralast I don't need that because it vents out around the bottom seam? That line runs down off the front into the frame.

Finally got stuck into this. So the port marked air goes to a line that runs off the front in to the frame. Purge is on top and tank is the bottom port on the right side. My new canister has purge and tank and vents through an opening on the canister. With the “air” line on the old canister do I abandon it or Tee it in to one of the other lines? Thanks

Hi All, I got my hands on what I thought was an OEM canister (The Part number on the canister is 77704-60070). The photos here don't seem to match the part however and this one looks a bit smaller. I'm confused and hoping someone can give me a little clarity. I'm attaching photos here. Thanks for your help.

I may have answered my own question here. Looks like this canister is for a 3F and not a 3FE. I imagine this will not work considering the size compared to the the 3FE. Its a bit smaller.
