Vacation!

Started at 4PM! We fly to Denver Sunday for 2 weeks of
Rocky Mtn. rest. Plan to drive, hike , fish, hot springs, eat,
drink, sight see. Have a Jeep rented in Silverton so we can do
some wheeling, (don't remember the name of the trail).
We are tempted not to come back!

Colorado is just about the most beautiful
place I have ever been! We had an absolute blast!
Rented a Jeep out of Silverton and did the Alpine loop over Engineer's pass and
back across Cinnamon Pass. Both are over 12000'. Trail is 65 miles long and takes all day. Tons of old mines and equipment to be seen.
I found out that Bette is not a big fan of 1000 foot drops 2 feet from her side of the rig! The grab bar will be permanetly marked with her fingerprints!
