Who needs engine room fuse boxes from a ‘99 and ‘00?
My personal least favorite part of the UZJ100. I HATE these things. Fiancé wants me to clean out my pile of spare LC parts, these are first on the chopping block.
The box out the ‘99 has issues with EFI fuse contacts, it’s literally missing the EFI fuse holder. Look closely. This box is for parts, it’s been wiggled to death. Other than EFI fuse slot, it’s in good shape.
The other box (‘00) is decent. Probably a year or two away from suffering the “wiggle EFI fuse no start” problem. Everything is functional though, EFI fuse works. Good shape, one broken leg as seen in photos.
EFI fuse slot can be repaired if you open up the box and replace the contacts. This process is not well documented. I can confirm 100% it's possible, but I can't help you with it. Sorry.
Alternatively you can bypass the EFI fuse slot with a immobilizer bypass kit wired directly to the battery.
