I would recommend having fun and getting your feet wet on all the trails but the ones that start with D: Daniel, Dickey Bell, and Dutch John. If you are looking for more of a challenge, go to Dutch John first followed by Dickey Bell. You Would be safe on the backside of Daniel as others have stated.

Always ride with a partner with some off-road experience and grab a map at the Outpost off 109.
 
Yeah. World of difference from 2018 to Dec 2020. The dirt chutes had gotten to be hellish.
The dirt chutes were my favorite part of going up the back of daniel. ;<) A little 3 wheel action and crazy articulation and angles.
 
So I couldn't make it up for the Relic Run, but I will be in the area the 11th -18th. I'm only going to be 1.5 hours away from Uwharrie so I was going to try and make it up there for a day of trails. Are there any meets coming up during those dates. Does anyone live close enough they might be willing to show a Uwharrie noob the ropes?
