It was brought up to me to do this thread last weekend. This thread will cover alot of the happenings in the Uwhaarie national forest or there close by. There are quite a few things that go on there pretty much everymonth that the trails are open. Going to keep this thread locked please so it does not get trashed or just too long. I am also going to request this thread be a sticky till the end of the year and then i will start one for next year. This will cover evrything from events to trail workdays thru the year.

Oct 20th. Yes it is in the middle of the Brown mountain trip but if you are not going there please keep this in mind.
Nov 10th This one is a week early because of the Tread lightly class being the following weekend.
Now for events that are up there. These are not all of them but you can get a good idea of the happenings.
