Anyone interested in possible URE trip on 29 May with wheeling on 30 May then return on 31 May?

I sent an email to all club members today but this will go to wider audience.

It will be last wheeling opportunity before GSMTR in June....Then in July a couple of us with FJ Cruisers are going to Colorado wheeling and camping.

Please respond to either email I sent or post your comments here. I have also invited UC members as one of our planned combined events to help build unity amongst state wide members.

THanks.

CAMPING

Arrowhead Camp Ground
Register with Recreation.gov and then search for
Arrowhead Campground (NC)

I like the campsite back around 20-25 on UPPER LOOP the best.

I was going to the canoe trip but didn't realize it was Mother's day. I guess that's out... Uwharrie sounds good. I'll try to have my locker and gears in by then. I would love to share a campsite with someone...

I would love to go if we don't have a show that weekend. I'll share a campsite with you if you want...but I (we) take up a lot of room....

I will try. If I go, it will be in the 62. The gears are swapped in the rear of the Jeep, but not the front.
No 4WD:bang::crybaby:

there are some campsites at arrowhead that are big enough for two or three tents....like where ProInv stayed last time or where DBENKE stayed. Most will hold two 3 man tents or one family size tent.

I am going to plan on it so hope to have some company from the Lowcountry this time. I will post the link for campsite reservations and I have a map of Biden Lake as well with trails on it I can scan and share but think it is online as well.

There are several online. I've got a copy I like, I'll make some copies.
Ron, have you asked anyone in the upstate yet?

S** I wish I could go to this one but my girlfriend is comin down that weekend..

Bring her with you. She'll either love it or............nevermind. just bring her.

There's plenty of light wheeling.
I'm planning on driving the 62 w/out much protection on it so I wont be doing anything extreme

Just let me know about the camping situation. we'll figure something out! Would love to share a site with ya greg. Our tent is pretty big -I think- still haven't tried out the one that brock gave me so I'm not sure how large it is...

you guys might want to get the double site large enough for an RV...it is one right next to where ProInv camped last time. I can remember the number. I had #23, then DBenke had 24, BillWright had 25, ProInv I think had 26 so that might have been 27. It will hold an RV or 4 tents easily.

Do I have the numbering right ProInv or Wild Bill??

making my reservations today to be sure to get a good site again....they are all available if you do them in next week it looks like.

Ron, I might sleep in the 62 this time if I can find a flat spot. (near your site LOL)

I believe I had 26 last time, that is the one we usually get. the double site with the long drive would be 27.
