I think it's always nice when you can reference who's photo it was, but I think most view it as if it helps someone else, then just post it. Just my view.
All depends on if you are saying good or bad.. 
If you are saying "Look at this POS vehicle, god I wouldn't want to own that shiat!" The put up my picture...might not be happy, but if you're saying something about how great it is...doubt any feathers would be ruffled.
