guys, i followed the links for downloading manual at the FAQ but it is not working (file can't be found)
I need to know what type of safety belt do we have. the standard on most cars is an ELR (emergency locking Retractor) that only locks when in case of emergency. Other type is ALR with an autolocker that locks if you pull more than 21 inches or you click it. what type of belt for LC100 2002 and lx470 2007. thanks guys! am not near my cars otherwise I would have tested myself :-) quick help is appreciated. thanks guys.

Just for reference I found out that lx 2007 has an ALR belt in the rear seats while the LC100 2002 has an ELR system in the rear seats. This is helpful to people who want to purchase baby seats like britax or graco. Either way both fit properly in both cars if you are not using the latch system.

Both of the car seats you mentioned have the LATCH system and both of the 100's you mentioned have the LATCH anchors. Unless they're not US spec models.

It's hard to beat the LATCH system.

Both are not us specs however the latch was introduced on some but not all 2001 but all 2002 lc100 as I understand. I reside outside USA so no latch system to use with my new britax car seat. Thanks.
