What: 80 series Old Man Emu 418 front pair and 421 rear pair of springs for a total of four springs. The springs appeared to be in the 3.5” lift range. Unfortunately I never drove anywhere on the springs so I can’t comment on their performance. Based on some googly they are known as “comp” springs.

When: If I had to guess the springs are probably 7 years old. I pulled them off an 80 with a blown motor. One of the 421 rears I powder coated about 2 yrs. ago. As seen in the pics there is rust on the springs, it appears to be cosmetic.

Where: about an hour north of San Francisco

Why: slinky madness

How: Shipping is okay, although I can’t imagine it’d be worth it because I am not negotiating the price to compensate for shipping.
