Hi gangs

In past few days, I have spent great deal on reading about my truck issue, low idle with no stall, shakes or vibrates, just steady low 200 rpm. The truck is not causing any problem as of now but would like to keep it running perfectly
Car info:
2007 lx470 with 87k miles. Excellent condition just bought it on Jan.
Mods: iPod integrated kit, remote starter and k40 jammer.
All maintenance in the dealer even mods installed there from first owner.
Car runs excellent but when warms up, it idle very low in all gears 200 rpm sometimes little bit less.
What's done to this symptoms:
Clean throttle ( was not even dirty)
Checked the MAF sensor was clean but didn't clean it.
Checked vacuum hose with no leak
Check all the fuses under the hood and driver side, all working
Tried to clean IAC valve but couldn't find it.
Checked battery grounds no rust.
Replaced air filter
Discounted the battery and reconnect but issue was still there.
I ran out of things to think about and I hope I can get other opinions about this. It has driven me nuts
The only thing I am not sure of is spark plugs but I know there are not due till 100k miles.
Anyone has experienced this issue or have any idea how to fix it?
Really appreciate it and sorry for the long thread.

Hi there~

Mine was idling low and sometimes stalling at idle after i disconnected the battery. It fixed itself after I went for a long drive on the highway and around town.

I think the computer has to "relearn" the air/fuel map after you disconnect the battery, and that can take a few drives.

I would drive it hard and fast for a couple days and see if the idle improves as a result of the computer relearning the settings.

The other thing I would do is clean the MAF sensor whether it needs it or not.
Also, I believe you can test resistance across the MAF sensor to check it.

A bad MAF sensor might result in the symptoms that you describe.
I doubt your spark plugs have anything to do with it.

Is your check engine light on? If not, Hopefully driving it for a few days will allow the computer to "relearn" the idle settings and that will solve your problem.

Hope this helps.
Let us know how it turns out.

Hi.
Thanks for the reply.
I have gone for few drives and it's been few days, but nothing has changed, planning to check with obd II and see what it reads. It's not causing any problem it's very smooth but just annoyed by it.

Will be posting updates.

Ok. Kinda figured out what the problem was. When k40 was installed in the dash, installer had swapped between the speed needle and rpm needle. Swapped them back an problem solved.
