Lots of options on alternator. Some have had good luck with oem reman, others not so much. If you're looking to add lots of accessories check the threads for what others have done to put higher capacity units in. Still others have stayed with a good reman from the local auto parts store so if problems it's easy too go get it replaced. Personally this is what I did with no problem so far but had only been a few months. Not that hard to change one, getting the electrical connectors loose was much harder than taking it out.
