Thanks to Steven for catching the moment right after I lost the bead...

couple short vids here

Great meeting everyone and seeing the familiar faces. Hate we didnt run into more of the UC crowd out there. Hope those that camped stayed warm. I hear Bill had a rough time on one of the trails.... hope you guys got him headed down the road safe and straight.

I hate that I had to miss this one, looks like you guys had a awesome day and a good turnout.
Ramon - glad to see you have that 40 on the trails, hope it did well.

Brad

I wish I could say I planned it but it was totally coincidental. I was taking pics of you coming up with you pass side front off the ground and snapped one right as it happened. If you really look you can see the dust that blew up when the air released.

You just broken the sacred creed of all photographers, you ALWAYS planned the shot, nothing is an accident.

Just a benefit of seeing what's happening, taking pictures and have a camera that is "quick" enough to catch things.

And, I agree, you can see the dust from the bead letting go, pretty SWEET in my book. Thanks again for capturing my "mishap"...

Thank you for letting me use youre camera, truly awesome. I was satisfied with my camera until yesterday.

Great pix fellas! Looks like y'all had an awesome trip. Ramon, sweet looking 40 man! Joe sorry to hear you acquired more trail rash. Gonna try to pickup some sliders before spring as well. Glad y'all had a goodtime, sorry to have missed it!

Thanks guys for posting all those. My first appearance on YouTube!

Any word on Wild Bill???

looks fun fellas... Im jealous

hope i can make it out next time...

Bill looks like he bent the lower control arm. DBENKE and I looked at it that night in rain and next morning and that is all we could find. DBENKE loaded Bonnie up on the trailer and had Bill drive the van and trailer while DBENKE drove the Jeep and they took her to Bills home....then DBENKE came on home to Charleston afterward.

Bill had an alignment appointment this week already....looks like he will need it. He is posting the story on the Lowcountry Land Cruiser page I think of how it happened.

Hey guys, looks like ya'll had as much fun as i did. I was hoping our paths would cross at some point during the day so i could switch groups and wheel with you guys for a while. After seeing all those cruisers at the outpost, looks like ive got a lot of modding to do before i could even keep up with you guys!

Greg, is was good to meet you, thanks for walking over and introducing yourself.

Ramon, thanks for taking the fj40 slot for this trail ride. As we all know, only one 40 can be running on any given trail ride. ;)
Spring over looks really good man....hope you are considering upgrading the factory "roll" bar now though.

One per ride, funny how that seems to work out.

MetalTech full cage is in the garage waiting for fitment, welding, and paint. However, first on the list is the tranny teardown to figure out why I don't have 3rd and the grinding sound that can't be good :)
