URE maintenance ?

Hey guys. I am working on a project for school
And I am wandering if u guys can provide me a few food talking points about the ure trail maintenace plan.

I am planing on going to talk to the ranger out there but can't remember here name.

Any info u guys could provide me would be greatly appreciated

Are you specifically meaning the Trail plan? or the overall Management plan?

I can't remember the lady's name who was championing the expansion of the trail system, but I had to ride with her back to get my shovels/post hole diggers one work weekend where we chatted about these items.

Ranger Debra Walker is the Forest Ranger. Terry ( unsure of last name here ) is in charge of the trail system pretty much. Then you have Janet at Arrowhead camp that helps out on the trails when she is feeling well enough.

Ranger Walker will be at the next trail workday, but Terry is going to be up north at someones wedding.

One topic that is a sore one is Quads. I think quads and dirtbikes should have their own trails and should be one way only. I think if we did that then we could also have the horses with the OHV guys and everyone could work together like that.

Yeah, if Brown Mountain can stay mostly bike and quad trails and only one 4WD trail, then we should make Uwharrie mostly 4WD and only one quad/bike trail!
