Hey we were planning on going for the day in the 4Runner as well with some other FJ's - we were thinking El Dorado at 0900. PM me your phone # if you would like to meet up. 
I will be up there all this next week. Camping at Badin lake.
Anyone know if anything needs to still be done on our trail up there. Still have room for tools if needed.

Sad day, came back home. Wife had a interview for a job this morning. Found out about it in the woods. She went and has a second one next tuesday with the same company. Hopefully this is good.
Only broke one thing this trip and only a little body damage. First i broke the front brake line. It was the one that goes from the frame down to the axle. Quick clamping from some visegrips and going again with the rear brakes good. Then i managed to slam the nerfbar into the body on the passenger side. Either way nothing major and fun times were had.
By the way, the trails are getting a little harder each year we go. At least Daniel has to me it seems. That one rock ledge you have to climb going up has gotten really torn up. New carb did not like that angle, and it is a new stock one from Marshall.

That climb has gotten nasty...especially in a wagon

To tell you the truth Greg i never did see it. I also forgot to ask Janet about that as we talked to her for about 3 hours while we were there. Wife said she did not see it either, and we walked the entire thing.
