I just got my new Donahoe's and I'm wonering which Upper Control Arm I should go with?? I want to retain normal travel up & down. I've been told if you use an adjustable shock you lose travel downwards. Any suggestions??

Thanks Ian

Most lifts that I know of will loose downword travel. Some get that back by giving you more upward travel. The only thing that I can see that might get downward travel back is to use Total Chaos's Long travel Kit.

Alot of FJ cruisers are going with the Total Chaos UCAs - good value for the money. I am about to get my Donahoe UCAs - tomorrow. They were on total backorder for a long time and so many went with the TCs or All Pro option.
I really like the over the top build of them. Figured I would stay consistent with my Donahoe coilovers also.

When I get them put on, I will post my findings.

BTW - I got them from KLM Performance who might have some in stock since they just got a shipment in from Donahoe :)

I have the AP's UCA and give them a workout often, they are holding up well and I love the whole setup. I just recently brought the front up a bit too much so now my AP adj are really tensioned I'm dropping them down about 1/4" to 1/2" to get the performance back up to speed. Right now when I go over a bump the shocks shoot down to the ground, but it will be an easy fix. Before raising it more these shocks were untouchable just a perfect ride:)

Donahoe's uca's are pretty impressive looking. just another option...
