This may have already been documented, but I haven't run across it, so putting this here so it might pop up in a search.

I just recently replaced my upper control arms and I replaced the hardware while I was in there (probably overkill, but trying to be thorough).

The tip is to open the hood and then free up things that get in the way of removing the bolt:
1) open the (two) clips on the (us) passengers side that hold the two hoses (to the air injection pumps) and two wire harnesses to the inside of the frame rail
2) slide the plastic clip that holds the large wiring harness bundle to the inside of the drivers side frame rail off it's metal bracket.*

* no need to remove the battery or battery tray.

With these disconnected, you can move the hoses/wires, and wiring harness out of the way, so you have a straight shot to remove and install the insanely long bolts that go through the UCA.

They will slide between the items you loosened and the frame rail, making this an easy one man job.

Hopefully this saves someone a bit of hassle in the future.

Passenger side - open up two clips and move hoses and harnesses inboard.

Drivers side - pull up tab, and slide plastic off metal bracket.

I unbolted the power steering reservoir to make it easier to shift those lines around as well.

Plus you might post the part numbers for the skirt clips in here since they will so often need to be replaced with this job..
