Forgive me it has been ages since I've used a forum, although my age (43) should not reflect that. My name is Joey I ran into a group of you at the beginning portion of Union Springs with my buddy Matt in his 2nd gen Montero. Just wanted thank you guys for letting us tag along! Timing was impeccable for us to run into a Toyota group on a impromptu trail run, we are local so we go up union quite often.

Looks like a great weekend! Pretty sure I ran into someone driving that montero up at flagpole last spring. Guy driving it said his friend was letting him borrow it, dude was sitting on the roof smoking a joint! Haha

Great meeting you both . We are a club in its infancy. Our goal is to eventually be a Tlca santioned chapter. I would like to schedule more weekend rides and learn more about that area not just the one trail. Having a local guide would be amazing. We tread lightly and will be keeping events limited to folks associated with us .
We did run the dissent down to the lake the next morning . It was a nice scenic coffee in hand type morning. A handful of us are going to Fall Crawl at the Cove in Gore. Brainstorming on where to go in October currently. Hopefully the crew can get out and view some fall colors.
