Undercoating

What would be the best undercoating and where can it be done in the North East.

under coat sucks ,oil works best around here when i want them to look nice i use fence post paint ,lasts for years and doesnt create pockets for salt to hide in like under coat does but thats just me

There was a thread in the 80s section showing before and after pics (5 yrs elapsed time) using something called Corrosion X or XD. I think I'm going to try some.
