Brysen,

Trollhole has pretty much all of the FSM's in one of his threads in .pdf format for free download. Search grasshoppa...SEARCH! You'll need the one for the body/chassis and the one for the 2F. Just print it and put it in a binder. It'll take a ream of paper for both manuals. You're on your own to find an owner's manual though.

Here is what i ordered! All oem except the rear Diamond plate corners and the diamond plate running boards.
Parts:
Hood hinges
Windshield hinges
Hood rubber rests for windshield
Rear door handle
Hood and Windshield clasps
Engine repair manual
Chassis and Body repair manual
Brake and clutch pads
Cluster Bulbs for dash
Hubcaps
black tow hooks
3spd shifter knob
:)

Owner's manuals do show up on Fleabay once in awhile - got one myself that looks new . Not really much in it , but nice to have one anyway .
Focus on any rare stuff you're missing first , such as jack , rods and odd parts that folks remove and never put back . Most of that small stuff is getting tough to find these days and some command high prices .

Dave, I looked in Trollhole's thread for the free fsm's and the closest I found to my 77 year was 75. Will I be ok using these since they're just 2 years apart or should I try to track them down for my year. I'm gonna try to find them if I can.

Helm sells new Toyota owner and service manuals. These are reprints that have the same content, but different covers, as the originals. A search for 1977 Land Cruiser manuals yields these results.

Ah! I need brake and clutch pedal pads, and 4-spd shift knobs.
Thanks

I ordered my 77 manuals from Toyota several yrs ago-here's the order form. I don't have the time right now to scan the whole set, but if there is a particular section you need I could prob. scan that--

Another Beno miracle:
FJ40 Radiator.jpg

Just received Thursday evening, March 27th. Solid brass, four rows, includes new cap and new drain pipe (as shown.)
Part number says 1975 and up, but flange pattern and size appears to be a perfect fit for my '73 FJ40. The only difference I noticed was that my original radiator flange, on the cap side, had some 'fingers' punched in the flange to retain the overflow hose on its way downward to the ground. This one doesn't have those, since by '75 they went to the overflow tank.

Other threads here on 'Mud indicate there may be a finite number of these left in the U.S. so call or write Beno soon! (see below)

Here are some wire grommets I had just bought from Toyota. The two Ambulance door grommet have different numbers but same part. I have no idea where they all go. I just bought all that I found available still.
