can you tell me what the spicer u joint equivalent is for a 78 FJ40 . TIA

Can't help you with the spicer number, but the Toyota joint is available and is about $25. I

I'm sure the spicer joint is plenty strong, but the board consensus when I replaced mine was the oem joint was superior.

I think it is a 5-160x. that is the box I got from truck parts when I had my last d-shaft put back together.
