I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who asks me. I used U-Fix-It Center yesterday to swap out the transmission and transfer case in my 1988 FJ-62 Cruiser. They had every tool that I needed to get the job done. There were no hidden fees in the end, as it was truly all inclusive with the rental of the bay. Another huge plus is that he is 24/7 with a two hour minimum charge for work after hours. The shop rates were $15 an hour for a bay with a lift. U-Fix-It Center also offers parts at a discounted rate. So, if you're not using our club discount at Camelback Toyota, then take Andreas up on this. It is worth it to save the additional money on parts and they can be delivered ahead of time so that they are there upon your arrival. Also, if you find out that you should need an additional part once the job is started, he can have it delivered so that you can continue working, instead of running to get parts. Andreas was also very helpful and seemed knowledgeable. If you do not have the FSM to get the job done, there is no need to worry as Andreas can pull up step by step instructions from his computer. He is also there to lend a hand should you need one. I gotta say using the lift sure as hell beat laying on my back in my driveway doing that swap! I will use them again on my next big project!
