We are mostly packed. Daphne made me buy 4 of those bamboo tiki torches so you guys coming in late just look for the warm glow of the torches and the bonfire in the middle! Are there gonna be any dogs in camp? - no, not your girlfriend Ty

Awww, Chris I got a bunch of tiki torches that my sister left here after she had her wedding dress rehearsal party here last year. Return those ones and take mine. I swear I've got like eight of them and I think I even have the juice to go with them. I'm never gonna use them again.
Daphne said she'll take them all! I'll light them and have a Gilligan's Island moment. Gotta get Daphne a MaryAnn outfit...
. They were only $2 each. Never know when we might need a dozen tiki torches, perhaps a club Luau with a roasted "pig". Also, I think it would be a good idea to winch that rusted frame and block out of the river and document with pictures so we can show the Forest service the environmental restoration work we did with our club this weekend. Never hurts to accomplish things like that when we have the chance.

I just read in the paper that this is the free fishing weekend in Oregon!! Anyone know if that means I can legally "catch" a salmon there and keep it?? Or are salmon "special" and/or the Illinois river off limits to "trollers" like me?? And yes Jesse, I told them it would be cold. I'm taking all the tubes and stuff but doubt they will be spending much time in the water. Bobby's taking his .22 and soccer ball for amusement. Me, I'm taking my chair and my pain pills.

Only afraid if it's deep enough to get in the carb...we know that it's already amphibious!!!
may have solved the mirror screw issue. they're not on yet though. mostly packed. have a trip related errand at lunch then after work throw the rest in, head out and make a list on the way to crescent city for any additional or forgotten items.
I'll call T when I get to crescent city for a possible meet up at the turn off.
