Hey yall'

I have two issues I'm trying to resolve on my 2007 V6 Tacoma. (auto tranny)
86kmiles

First issue:

-I have no running lights in the front. The two yellow inner lights (near the grill) do not come on when I turn my headlight switch half way on. rears come on, but the front yellow inner's (which are also the blinkers and hazards-which work fine) and the fog's don't come come (fogs also work when lights are switched fully on)

No fuses seem to be related to just this function, and no fueses are blown. bulbs are all fine.

Second issue:

I thought I had a loose heat shield somewhere in my exhaust system. Upon further inspection, I discovered the noise (which sounds exactly light a loose heat shield vibrating) is coming from the tranny/bell housing area. Possible pressure plate? The noise comes when the truck is in gear, and under some minimal load (I can put the truck in gear, hold the brake, and give a small amount of throttle and reproduce the sound)

thanks for the input!

#1: Not sure what's up with the marker lights, but I am pretty sure that fog light behavior is normal. That's how they have worked on both my Lexus' (Lexi?) and the Highlander. I would look for another truck that is the same year on a lot somewhere, go see if it works the same.

#2: no pressure plate with an automatic tranny. I know there was a problem with the flex plates cracking on the Tundras and T100s, but I thought that was resolved. A quick Google search shows it happening on Tacos as well. Is there an inspection plate on the bellhousing you can remove to take a look?
