I now have a 2006 LC with 160k on the odo. Still have the 80 too.
There is an air leak on the passenger side that seems to come from the roof rack front foot mounting on the passenger side. The gutter seal seams spongy right there and I tested it by placing clear packing tape over that area. The noise was all but eliminated. Can someone tell me what's going on right there?
Next noise is intermittent. The other noise sounds like that there are two small diameter pipes rubbing together at a high frequency in the upper right passenger side inside the engine bay right about height of the mirror or dash. This noise happens occasionally. I once thought it was the hood not being seated properly but it seems like I heard it the other day. This occurs at high turbulence times....higher speed coupled with high wind outside.
Love both vehicles...well, I love the 100 more right now since it does not need a radiator replacement....
