TRFCSUX and I spent much of the day mounting sliders on our FJ-6x's.

Sorry I forgot to take pictures until around dark!

His are welded on, mine are mounted with plates awaiting some frame de-rustification; I'll either weld them or bolt them on.

Steve chose to angle his up at about 45*, and we painted them white because, well, I had plenty of white paint!

Mine are mounted flat, or 90*, because I have no rocker panel left!:hillbilly:

Big thanks to Tracy

What a fun day, sliders are cool. Tracy is good at welding stuff, easy to tell the ones i did compaired to the ones he did. :bounce:

Looks good, you can test drive them at the Fall Crawl.

Where did you get the sliders?

Trail Gear

They are advertised for a Toyota mini-truck/Tacoma, but the (measure) set is almost the perfect length for a 60/62. And it's DOM tube, so I'm not concerned about the Cruiser weight.

The plan is to test drive them at FALL CRAWL. Looking forward to it!

Lookin' good, glad to see that things went well.
